ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (APP): National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf Sunday paid rich tributes to the “valiant armed forces for their actions” during operation Swift Retort.”
The NSA on the third anniversary of the Operation in which the Pakistan Air Force successfully downed two Indian fighter aircraft, in a tweet said; “On 27th Feb 2019, Pakistan’s resolute & decisive response to Indian misadventure demonstrated that we remain ready, willing & capable of ensuring our territorial integrity at all cost.”
“While India created the conflict, we showed our commitment to peace by voluntarily handing over their downed pilot,” the NSA said.
