ISLAMABAD, Jan 28 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill Friday said the government passed the State Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill 2021 from Senate.
PML-N and PPP did their best to keep their members absent from Senate, he tweeted. Now, he said, the opposition was saying that they would withdrew the bill if they came into power, he said. Gill said the opposition would never come into power corridor.
If the opposition was serious to stop the passage of the bill, certainly today their members would had to be present in the Senate, he said. He thanked the opposition for smooth passage of the bill from the upper house of the Parliament.
